Imtiaz wins in Good 9

Imtiaz Serwer was literally unstoppable today as he beats the top 2 seeds to win Leg 3 XZ Snooker Tour 2012 at Good 9 Snooker & Pool Club.

Both Semi Finals matches registered the same score as Imtiaz and Lee Hwa Meng won 4-1 against Rory Thor and Patrick Ooi respectively. Lee goes into his 3rd consecutive Final for 2012, hoping to convert it to a win while it's Imtiaz's first appearance in the Tour final.

As the Final cued off 830pm sharp, both players came to the table aiming to capture their first victory in 2012. As the match progressed, both players were equally balanced on the offensive and defensive side, not willing to nudge a bit to each other.

The match was leveled at 2-2 as they took a five minutes break and right back at the table, Imtiaz made a 79 break and came one step closer to victory. Lee struggled to come back but still to no avail as Imtiaz closed in to win frame and match.

Imtiaz walks away with cash prize RM 3,000, the Highest Break trophy and his first win in 2012 whilst Lee could only take back the Runner up's trophy for the 3rd time.

Leg 4 goes to Golden 10 Snooker & Pool Club in Pudu, where the former F&N factory is located.
