Club 9 In House Pool Tournament - March 2010

After 6 days of grueling and fierce competition, seasoned campaigner Peter Foo emerged as Champion of Club 9 In House Pool Tournament last Friday night. He beat KL Tan of Club 28 with a scoreline of 12-9 to take home the Champion trophy and cash prize of RM 1,500. Below are the rest of the winners:-

Additional Qualifying Event for Party Poker.net World Pool Masters 2010 Malaysia Qualifying Tournament

Good news for pool fans who has been considering to participate in the Party Poker.net World Pool Masters 2010 Malaysia Qualifying Tournament which is scheduled for 13-16 April at Golden Break Pool Club.
The Organizer will be hosting a selection tournament on 10 & 11 April to choose 4 players to compete in the Main Qualifying Tournament.

Matches will begin at 12pm with an entry fee of USD20/RM70 inclusive of table charges.

2 spots will be offered each day with the following format
  • 32 players & below – Double Elimination proceed to Single Elimination
  • Above 32 players – Single Elimination
Entry fee of USD100 will be waived for these 4 players selected for the Main Qualifying Tournament but excluding subsequent re-tries which will be self funded.

Golden Break Snooker Championship 2010 - Results

Leading 2-0 in the Final, Chooi Yew Wah from 2K Snooker seemed to be all geared up to lift the trophy after his awesome matchplay in the Semi Final by winning veteran player Ibrahim Amir 4-0. But Ng Ann Seng from Snooker Arena was not willing to go down without a fight after a tough Semi Final win of 4-3 over Elvin Lean, Ng finally prevailed after winning 4 frames in a row to win 4-2 and collect his prize money of RM 1,500 and becoming Champion of Golden Break Snooker Championship 2010. Winners for the Championship are as below

Party Poker.net World Pool Masters 2010 - Qualifying Tournament Malaysia - 13~16 April

WITH THE 2010 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters increasing its field from 16 to 64, Matchroom Sport can announce that there are 26 qualifying events in place.
The first of these will be in Paris, France on February 14 and will run regularly around the world before the ‘last chance saloon’ tournaments the day before the event proper starts on Wednesday 12th May.
Working with an array of respected partners around the world, the qualifying events take in France, England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Germany, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Russia, Spain, Canada, USA, Australia, Malaysia and Japan. This will give every pool player in the world the opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas and mix it with the world’s elite in the Masters.
Each qualifying event will carry an entry fee and have, in most cases a maximum field of 32 players. The winner of each event wins a trip to Vegas, to include flight and accommodation, to compete in the Masters and there are cash prizes for high finishers.
Golden Break Pool Club will play host to 1 leg of the Qualifying Tournaments in the Asia Pacific Region with Taiwan and Japan each hosting 1 leg.
