Most of the seeded players went through to the Quarter Finals of Leg 4 XZ Snooker Tour 2013 at A1 Snooker except for Ng Ann Seng and Thean Mun Kit, whom fell to Mohd Sepawi and Ibrahim Amir respectively.

Mohd Sepawi also made the current highest break of the Championship with 126 points in his Last 16 match and stands a chance to win an Altantis snooker cue sponsored by Wiraka.

Preliminaries round for Leg 4 XZ Snooker Tour cues off today at A1 Snooker as snooker fans in Kepong area are treated to intense snooker action. Below are the results for Day 1.

Jason Cheong wins Grand Final

An event spanning through 10 months of snooker action, it all ended on a high note as Jason Cheong survived a harsh beating and came back from a 4-1 deficit to beat William Teo on the final frame to win Golden Break Snooker Tour 2012/13 Grand Final.

Labelled as the richest amateur snooker tournament in Malaysia, Jason Cheong collects RM 7,000 cash prize for his impressive performance as William Teo only manages RM 3,000 as consolation for Runner up effort.

Highest break went to Mohd Sepawi whom made a 114 break in his Last 16 match against Peter Foo.

XZ Snooker Tour 2013 continues after a short break as A1 Snooker plays host for Leg 4. Preliminary rounds starts next Monday with the Final competed on 26 May, Sunday.

Draw for GB Snooker Tour Grand Final

The Grand Finals for the Golden Break Snooker Tour 2012/13 starts next Monday as the top 32 ranked players competes for the Champion cash prize of RM 7,000. 

The top 32 players are drawn into 4 groups of 8 players, competing using the Double Elimination format. 4 players will then qualify from each group into the Last 16 round, which will be played on 18 May, Saturday.

Michael Soh relives his glorious pool days as he defeats Alan Tan to win Rack Cafe 9 Ball In House Tournament last Saturday. Formerly playing for Rack, Michael Soh displayed glimpse of his match play form during the whole event.

Michael Soh collects RM 1,500 cash prize for his Champion's effort whilst Alan Tan only settles for Runner up prize of RM 700. Semi Finalist placings went to Muhd Aidi and Shamsul Anuar with each collecting RM 300 respectively.
