Golden Break announces 2013/14 calendar

It's the time of the year again as Golden Break Snooker & Pool Club announces this season's snooker & pool event calendar. There will be a total of 12 Snooker events and 15 Pool events.

Rory's 5th victory

Rory Thor adds another trophy to his mantelpiece as he wins for the 5th on the XZ Snooker Tour 2013 here at TJ Snooker, Balakong. He overpowers first time finalist Chooi Yew Wah 4-1, thus extending his lead on top of the ranking list.

No 2 seed Imtiaz Serwer failed this time around, not being able to perform to par as per the previous few outings. In form Chooi Yew Wah took the opportunity and seized the victory of 4-2 to advance into the Final.

Rory Thor takes home yet again RM 3,000 Champion's cash prize whilst Chooi Yew Wah collects his first Runner up trophy and cash prize of RM 1,200. Highest Break goes to Imtiaz Serwer for his 101 points effort.

Leg 10 moves on to Club 11, Bandar Sri Permaisuri in Cheras starting on 21 Sept.

Quarter Finals Results

No 2 seed Imtiaz Serwer looks very much determined to close in Rory Thor after winning his Quarter Final match against Malaysia's snooker legend Ng Ann Seng 4-2 at TJ Snooker, Balakong.

Semi Finals plays tomorrow at 5pm followed by the Final at 8pm.

Mohd Reza crashes out

No 3 seed Mohd Reza crashes out in the Last 16 Round as he loses to ZW Khoo at TJ Snooker, Balakong. ZW Khoo won the match on the decider and will play Chooi Yew Wah tomorrow in the Quarter Finals round.

Imtiaz Serwer currently holds the highest break with 101 points.

TJ Snooker plays host for the first time as XZ Snooker Tour 2013 continues on to it's Leg 9. Located in Taman Taming Jaya, Balakong, the Preliminary Rounds starts today.

Rory wins at Pelangi Snooker

Rory Thor maintains his No 1 position on the XZ Snooker Tour 2013 as he beats Imtiaz Serwer to win Leg 8 at Pelangi Snooker, Seapark PJ. Score for the Final was 4-1.

After a long Raya break, Rory was still very much in top form and displayed flawless snooker play, leaving Imtiaz trying to climb back into the match. A break of 89 in Frame 3 by Rory totally demolished Imtiaz's match play and went on to lose the Final.

Rory Thor takes home cash prize RM 3,000 and the Champion's trophy whilst Imtiaz Serwer collects RM 1,200 cash prize and the Runner up's trophy for his effort. Highest break went to Rory Thor with 93 points.
