Seri Kembangan's Red Ball Snooker will host Leg 14 of the XZ Snooker Tour 2012 this coming Friday with a total of 74 players participating.

Unstoppable Rory wins at Ballroom

Rory Thor seems very much unstoppable as he wins yet again by beating Imtiaz Serwer 5-2 to claim Leg 13 XZ Snooker Tour 2012 at Ballroom Snooker, Megamall Kuantan.

En route to the Final, Rory played near flawless snooker, winning matches without dropping a single frame. His opponent, Imtiaz, whom won the Pahang Open last year in the same venue, too was on top form as he bashed his way through to reach the Final.

Both players are meeting each other in consecutive Finals and Rory looks every bit the favourite to once again to lift the Champion's trophy.

As the Final cued off playing best of 9 frames, Rory sped off a 3-1 lead, including a break of 72 points before the mid session interval with Imtiaz directionless and motionless in his chair. After the interval, Imtiaz manage to narrow the gap as he wins Frame 5, trailing 2-3. But that was all he could salvage as Rory made breaks of 49 and 78 to win the frames required and match.

Rory takes home RM 3,500 cash prize for his effort while Imtiaz only manages RM 1,500 as Runner up. Highest break of 101 points gave Patrick Ooi RM 1,000 cash prize and trophy.

The Tour moves back to Klang Valley as Red Ball Snooker as plays host to Leg 14 which begins on 19 October.

Alex wins at Kuchai Avenue

Alex Liew finally wins in his 2nd final appearance as he beats JM Sam 4-3 in Leg 6 Golden Break Snooker Tour 2012 at Kuchai Avenue.

JM Sam, also playing in his 2nd final, still could not break the barrier and takes the runner up placing yet again. Alex Liew takes home RM 2,000 while JM Sam only manages RM 1,000. Previous legs winners Fong Keng Seng and Muhd Fithri could only manage to finish as Semi Finalists as each takes home RM 500 cash prize.

The Tour moves next to Leg 7 at Subang USJ, playing from 19-23 Nov.

XZ Snooker Tour 2012 moves to the East Coast for Leg 13 as The Ball Room Megamall in Kuantan hosts it for the first time. Prize money has been increased for this leg with the Champion taking RM 3,500 cash prize followed by the subsequent winners getting more. Below is the Draw for Leg 13
