Malacca's David Tang conceded a walkover, allowing former Asian Junior Champion Moh Keen Hoo to advance to the Last 16 Round without lifting his cue. Imtiaz Serwer also made the current highest break of the Championship with a 94 points break in his match against Afiq Ikhwan.
