Sweet revenger for Imtiaz

After losing continuously in two Finals, Imtiaz Serwer finally gets his sweet revenge as he thrashes Rory Thor 4-1 to win Leg 14 XZ Snooker Tour 2012 at Red Ball Snooker, Seri Kembangan.

Playing Rory for the third straight Final, Imtiaz came prepared to break the jinx as he swept Mohd Reza aside in the Semi Final, which included a 120 points high break. On the other half, Rory struggled very hard before finally overcoming Lee Hwa Meng on the final frame.

The Final cued off with Imtiaz immediately gaining a 2-0 lead but Rory quickly replied with a 46 break to trail 1-2. After a short time out, Imtiaz came back to the table and straight away took the 2 frames required, winning the Final and Championship.

Imtiaz Serwer walks away with RM 3,000 cash prize while Rory Thor only takes home RM 1,200. Imtiaz also wins himself RM 500 cash prize and the Altantis snooker cue worth RM 1,000, sponsored by Wiraka, for his 120 points high break in his semi final match against Mohd Reza.

Leg 15 continues in the Klang Valley with Club 11 at Bandar Sri Permaisuri playing host on 4-10 Nov.
