Rory Thor had to struggle through both his matches today before eventually lifting the Champion's trophy for Leg 2 here at One Class Snooker, PJ.

Playing Mohd Reza in the Semi, Rory was trailing 1-3 in a Best of 7 frames match, looking very much out of the Championship. Moh Keen Hoo in the other match, whitewashes Patrick Ooi 4-0 to go through to the Final. Rory had to dig very deep into his bag of skills and tricks, nicking frame by frame and eventually winning on the decider.

Final cued off with the first 4 frames shared between them. Moh then cleared the colours in frame 5 to take the lead 3-2, requiring only 1 more frame. Frame 6 was very much in Moh's favour but a missed Black on the spot gave Rory a chance to clear and level the match at 3-3.

Moh too the initial lead in the decider with a small lead but one careless mistake gave Rory the chance he needed to clear up, winning frame and match.

Rory Thor takes home RM 3,000 Champion's cash prize whilst Moh Keen Hoo settles for the Runner's up prize RM 1,200. Rory also takes the Highest Break RM 500 cash prize.
