Imtiaz denies Rory

Imtiaz Serwer took all 7 frames to deny Rory Thor from a back to back wins on the Tour and conquered at Club 11 Snooker, Cheras.

After a convincing win over Patrick Ooi in the semis, a very much in form Rory had ample time to rest while Imtiaz faced a much difficult opponent in Chooi Yew Wah. Imtiaz finally won it 4-2 and setup yet another Final against Rory.

Imtiaz cued off in the Final and took an early 2-0 lead, but was quickly leveled back to 2-2 including a 5 reds clearance in Frame 6. Frame 5 and 6 was shared amongst them, taking the match into overtime on the decider frame. Eventually, it was Imtiaz whom prevailed, clearing the colour balls and finally winning the Championship.

Imtiaz Serwer takes home RM 3,000 cash prize and the Champion's trophy whilst Rory Thor manages only the Runner up's trophy and RM 1,200 cash prize. Patrick Ooi and Chooi Yew Wah both received RM 600 cash prize and trophy.

Highest Break prize went to Imtiaz Serwer with his 122 points break, winning himself RM 500 cash prize, trophy and a Altantis cue sponsored by Wiraka.
