Imtiaz wins at A1

The Final was played to the maximum of 7 frames as Imtiaz Serwer finally defeated Patrick Ooi on the decider to win Leg 4 XZ Snooker Tour 2013 at A1 Snooker slightly past midnight.

Imtiaz, whom whitewashed Mohd Reza 4-0 in the Semi Finals wasn't in the best of form when the Final cued off. Patrick, on the other hand after crushing Rory Thor 4-1, cruised to a 2-0 early lead. That lead however was short lived as Imtiaz replied immediately and captured 3 straight frames to regain lead at 3-2 requiring only 1 more frame for the victory.

Patrick, struggling on his form, managed to level it back at 3-3 but could only do so as Imtiaz dashed for the finish line, winning it 4-3.

Imtiaz Serwer takes home RM 3,000 cash prize for his win whilst Patrick Ooi only manages RM 1,200. Highest break for the Championship went to Mohd Sepawi with 126 points break in his Last 16 match.

Next stop for the Tour will be 128 Snooker, Setapak which will be played 1-6 June.
